Mobile Wire Mesh Cage for Textiles
Lifting slings are textile products; once semi-finished and finished slings are stacked, the whole load becomes heavy. Many sling makers choose wire mesh cages as turnover containers for storage and in-plant transport, and the same cages are commonly used for finished or semi-finished textiles.
Common sizes. Cages for lifting slings and textiles tend to be on the large side. The standard 1200x1000x890 mm model is commonly chosen; when material is tall and needs more volume, non-standard sizes such as 1200x1000x1500 mm or 1500x1000x1500 mm can hold rolled or stacked textiles.
Mesh and wire. Mesh is usually 50x50 mm or 50x100 mm, with wire diameter from 4.8 to 6.4 mm, chosen by load and stacking needs. The open mesh makes material easy to check and lets textiles breathe.
Movement and turnover. To let workers move cages around the workshop, casters are usually fitted underneath, making pushable mobile metal cages; choose braked casters that lock when parked to prevent rolling. Denser mesh reduces snagging of loose textile threads; keeping the galvanized surface clean and dry extends service. Thanks to the folding design, empty cages fold on return trips to save space.
