Powder Coating and Rust Protection
Rack surface treatment directly affects rust resistance and service life. The mainstream process today is electrostatic powder coating after pickling and phosphating, forming an even, firm powder film.
Pretreatment. Steel parts are degreased and pickled to remove oil and rust, then phosphated to form a conversion film that improves coating adhesion - the key foundation for rust protection.
Powder coating and curing. Powder is electrostatically attracted to the part surface, then cured in an oven where it melts and levels into an even, rust-resistant, durable film. Colors can be customized on request.
Quality control. After coating, check film evenness and adhesion; good surface treatment makes racks more durable. For rack process and selection, see the rack selection guide.
