Carton Flow Racks and Sorting Lines
Carton flow racks install rollers (flow rails) on sloped shelves; goods slide forward by gravity for FIFO handling. Often paired with sorting lines and workstations, they are widely used in logistics sorting, assembly lines and express sorting areas.
How it works. Shelves sit at an incline; rollers cut friction, and goods loaded from the back roll automatically down the slope to the front picking position. Items are retrieved in storage order (FIFO), suiting fast-turnover goods with clear shelf-life requirements.
Selection considerations. Roller spacing and shelf width are set by cargo size; roller specs by unit weight; the incline is tuned for smooth sliding and safety. When linking to a sorting line, loading and unloading heights and rhythm must be unified.
Applications. Carton flow racks are widely used in logistics sorting, assembly lines and express sorting areas, improving picking and put-away efficiency. For configuration, contact Nanjing Tongnuo Storage Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
