A-5 Wire Mesh Cage: 1000×800×840mm Standard
The A-5 wire mesh cage is a common standard model made by cage manufacturers, with overall dimensions of 1000×800×840mm; some makers list the height as 850mm, and the roughly 10mm difference comes from the stacking lugs, which are usually not counted when calculating internal height. This cage is kept in regular stock and can be delivered to the Jiangsu–Zhejiang–Shanghai region the next day; cities around Nanjing such as Changzhou, Zhenjiang, Taizhou, Chuzhou, Yangzhou, Wuhu and Ma'anshan can receive orders placed in the morning by the afternoon.
Structure and features. The A-5 cage, also called a warehouse cage or butterfly cage, is an important type of logistics container in storage and transport. Made from cold-rolled hardened welded steel wire, it offers high strength and large loading capacity; with uniform specs and fixed capacity it is convenient for storing goods and easy to count; the galvanized surface is neat-looking and long-lasting. Cages can be used with containers to improve space utilization, and can be stacked four high for three-dimensional storage.
Working accessories. The A-5 cage pairs efficiently with forklifts, pallet trucks, lifts and cranes. Its folding structure means low recovery cost, making it a replacement for wooden crates; wheels can be fitted to the bottom as needed for in-plant turnover. If the bottom is welded from rectangular tubing, the cage can also sit directly on beam-type racking.
Points for non-standard customization. When ordering non-standard cages, confirm the following parameters with the maker: the overall or internal size based on the goods held, and how many layers will be stacked; the loaded weight at full capacity; the mesh specification — common ones are 50×50mm and 50×100mm, with non-standard options such as 100×100mm and 25×25mm — and the maker will choose the cold-drawn wire diameter (usually 4.8 to 6.4mm) and bottom U-channel specs (25×25, 30×30, 36×30, 30×27mm, thickness 1.8 to 3.5mm) according to the load.
Surface treatment options. The standard default is cold galvanizing, which suits common warehousing scenarios; heavier-gauge models can use hot-dip galvanizing for damp environments; powder coating is also an option when loading light, fluffy goods such as textiles. Casters, hollow boards, steel plates and front/rear tow fittings can also be added. Non-standard units cost more than standard ones, so standard specs are recommended.
